Keeper did nothing wrong

JDC - usual gets fwad well then does very little

Forester - Awful - touch and passing very poor

GJones - Steady add something as he gets fwad

G Johnstone - Steady

Williams - not as bad as Villa game

Matete - lovely touches but use of ball terrible

Lolos - struggling to see what he will add

Collins - More talent than the rest put together but frustrating as hell

Big Vic - Did nothing

Young Kid - looked composed but did nothing really positive till late cross. Very decent debut let's how carried away people get.

Not getting carried away with Sharples but I'd play him v Blackpool if none of our other midfielders are back. We HAVE to go back to a 3 man midfield. Playing 2 in there is nonsense

When’s the draw for the next round?

I was looking for that. Couldn’t find it.

We’re at home aren’t we? So as an away ST, you’ll be happy with that!

1st plays 2nd in group I think. So it’s one of these:

Tranmere

Port Vale

Wigan

Crewe

Huddersfield

Bradford

Lincoln

Super John isn’t a fan of Victor I think it’s fair to say.

After watching Saturday and last night I just wish sjm would just come out and say what 99% of us are thinking.

Victor you are fakin useless mate and let's get what we can for him in january, and take williams and forrester with you.

He is so poor at basically everything

And collins -  what is wrong with the lads passing of a football he could offer so much more but always manages to let us down at the minute.

No more moaning, but jeezus you can just hear the pitch forks being sharpened for the blackpool game.

He passed 2 in the net last night.

Last season it was the last weekend in November. For some reason there's till one game left to play next week Rotherham v Bradford so probably after that.

If we get into R3 there's not much in the way of potential aways that would get me interested, chesterfield maybe. If we get as far as the open draw there's the possibility of Colchester or Swindon to tick off, what a life.

Certain to be Wigan or Tranmere

Another successful showing for the PL academy teams by the way. All eliminated bar Villa.

Can’t help but feel that’s on us too😂

And they would have been out on GD if we had actually finished some of the 22 chances we had against them.

Doesn’t matter if we batter Blackpool 5-0 it won’t stop fans wanting Evatt gone. We’ve been there so many times and I fear under him nothing will change. Truth is we can’t approach any game home or away with confidence we’ll win and that’s what’s missing for me.

I can guarantee we won’t beat Blackpool 5-0

I was optimistic about Matete early season as he ran with the ball from midfield, similar to what mcateer and Reid used to do back in the day , but all he does is sideways or backwards passes to players who are marked , he doesn't move the ball on or take care of it  .

Our midfield is really weak , we all thought arfield was going to be our midfield general but he is poor .
