Aye and Athletico are a worse version of the Massives. Bitter cunts

massives have never bothered me. In fact when I lived in Manc they were all pretty sound

Again, i'd go with that.  Although i bet there's a fair few annoying JCLs . . .

Watched a few Manc derbies in and around Chorlton/Trafford area and thought the city lot were a much better crack.   Worked in Moston for a few years and reds were an endangered species . . . most pleasant :)

Piss me off hugely. Sick to death of their cock waving about how much money they have and the fact they constantly harp at me for supporting a "shit, bankrupt club". Few good mates who are Utd fans and they are sound- never have owt bad to say about us.

You lost me when you said you had yoonited mates ????

One of my good mates from Bolton is a city fan and he hates us more than the rags. I just find it touching. He was very upset we got promoted hahaha

Yeah but they have suffered like no other club has and played in 3rd division don't you know, so they deserve this

Watched a few games amongst both fans and city just always sound dead angry when they shout cmon Citeh at the tv

Never had time for the out of town utd fans that were in abundance at uni in the 90s

But when I moved to manc I found utd to be alright and city to be arse holes, more so when they were "shit" because they thought they deserved to be good and everyone else was shitter than them for whatever reason suited, like crowds, or history, or basically whatever criteria suited them up against that particular club

The criteria was never success though

It was almost like you could understand why a utd fan would be an arrogant cunt, but not city pre 2012

Anyway

Fuck em both

I spend a fair bit of time in Spain and in conversation I am often asked (after telling folk I am from Bolton which is near Manchester) if I am City or United. There is an expression in Spanish which translates as "different cheeks, same arsehole" which always answers the question.

Surely you only need to say "Bolton....Ivan Campo"?

Get that Chorley are a local club

Seems to be a fair few wanderers gone today

But just don't get it myself, I was glad when the season finished never mind more football

Nor me. Jumpers for goalposts seem all the rage. Especially at the successful ones

Went on

Decent game, fancied Chorley to win it second half but ran out of legs

Keith Branagan's lad plays in goal for Chorley, with minutes to go he hit a cracking volley just over the bar, would have been a fantastic moment

That's 2 play off finals Chorley have lost in 3 seasons, punching well above their weight anyway, likely they won't get another shot

Plenty Chorley based Wanderers on

I watched so much football in April that I've gone a bit cold turkey now!

Tempest United did amazingly well to beat LR at the Macron. There's a lot of very positive stuff going on at our local clubs.

Atherton Town have just made the play-offs against Bolton County so that's on my radar now.
