derek smalls Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Fantastic choice in my eyes. He'll do a better job than the previous handful of bottlers. A man who will do what he thinks and anyone disagreeing can go Fuck 'emselves Quote
Con Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Good post by a Telegraph Football writer on BSA from last week... Â https://www.facebook.com/jonathanliewjournalist/posts/1440230709372893 Quote

Marc505 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Had to turn TS off just now, some contradictory cunts calling in. Â Get in there Sam, well done. Dream come true for him. Quote
Guest Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 The ego has landed the big job   My BSA training top will be soaring in value Quote
deane koontz Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Genuinely made up for him. I never thought it would happen after the ball less wonders at the FA picked Mclaren over him. Â Â Â Quote
victor meldrew Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 as above ,he should have been named 10 years ago. Â well done big sam. Quote
kent_white Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I've been saying he should get it for years. Let's hope I am right about this just like I was with Owen Coyle, Dougie Freedman and Neil Lennon. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 He deserves a go at it , can only be better than Hodgson. Quote
Didledee Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 He deserves a go at it , can only be better than Hodgson. Â It'll be 2 years until we know that, be tough to get 100% qualification, but we should, doubt Slovakia will just defend like they did in the Euro game when at home, probably will do at Wembley, the rest well.. Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 Pleased for him. Heard a comment from the the f.a. chap earlier; can't remember exactly what he said but was something along the lines of needing someone with a thick skin. It sounded like Sam was the man. Quote
bolty58 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Elated with this news. The lad served us with distinction as both player and manager. Â I believe that he will be the best England manager since Bobby Robson and possibly since Sir Alf. Â Looking forward to some uncompromising defending and general in your face football. Fuck off pal, we are England. Quote
jturner Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I'm proud that a Bolton man will be managing England, this makes him our greatest if there was any doubt. It was a joke that less talented "yes men" McClaren and Hodgson were given the job before him. I think and hope he will rise to the challenge. To match his achievement of taking Bolton from mid table 2nd tier to 6th in the Prem I think he'd need to take England to a final. He'll be considered a hero by the England public if he "only" reaches a semi final. Mounts Kipper Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 (edited) I am well pleased for England and Sam I felt he left BWFC badly at the end and that tainted my view of him as a manager however I now admit I was wrong he is a top top manager. Good luck Sam bring home the world cup. Edited July 21, 2016 by Mounts Kipper Quote
Traf Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I'd love Sam to succeed, but I fear the job's too big for him Quote
