Only realised (after they said so on the radio) yesterday, that Madine managed a grand total of ZERO goals for cardiff after his transfer there.

For Blackpool he’s managed 8 in the league this season not bad in the championship

Cardiff fans probably couldn't believe it.  Madine cost em £6m, did naff all, comes back and gets away with a clear red card offence, then scores a scrawpy equaliser.

I'd be happy if nearly all of our January budget goes into a quality striker and that's it.

We missed out on a striker on deadline day and the rhetoric was that we didn't really need one and move on with the season.

Half way in to the season now, we sit pretty in 5th, but we have clearly missed on a considerable amount of goals and points from not having a quality finisher.

We have only scored 26 goals, even Burton have scored more.

We have a relatively solid defence, dominate most games, control possession and create a bundle of chances. Yesterday was an example of many games this season, can't complain with a 2-0 win, however Derby won 4-0, finish their chances better with a top finisher in Mgoldrick.

Having a lower goal difference to our competition could really haunt us later on if we continue to narrowly beat sides when we do win. We need to be more punishing.

Just feels that the finishing end might be the final piece of the jigsaw missing.

Also promote healthier competition for Dion who looks better and Bod when he's fit again.

Baka and Kachunga out for me when we can, not good enough but good squad players for the time being.

I think we're fine for midfielders, though with Thomason out for a bit maybe a defensive type on loan. 

I can see MJ possibility going end of season though, so it's not impossible that Evatt could bring in someone on Jan as he's done previously.

Scored 14 league goals last season in a team that got to the play offs.  Quality player, and not all about goalscoring, good all round championship level player who can provide as well.  Played 14 this season and scored 3, no worse than most of our strikers, but a level up.

This is where I'm at. 

Can say he's got championship experience.. EK has Premiership experience.. accounts for naff all in grand scheme of things. 

We've got a 20 goal a season striker in Dion Charles and the fans keep shouting about this 20 goal Bakayoko....
