Boro spent a fortune in the summer, including a £15m striker, while we've got a midfield including the likes of Pratley & Deryk who can't cover the defence, can't win or retain posession in midfield, can't create chances & would struggle in div 1. It's not defeatist but accepting reality to guess that we're unlikely to win this one, but when we can pick our best team against the weaker sides, we can still pick up the points to reach the giddy heights of 4th from bottom. There can be exceptions or cup shocks but with such a financial imbalance, a rich club will beat paupers in the vast majority of games.
