Star Wars think i saw it once when i was a kid. Not for me

Liked the Nolan/Bale Batman films but other than that all the superhero guff isn't for me. A bit mad grown ups wank themselves daft over them

My favourite period drama is actually by Martin Scorsese - the Age of Innocence

I like that bit where Joe Pesci's character bashes the Earl's head in with a harpsichord over some perceived slight against his periwig...

All musicals are shit.

Agreed.... cant stand them. I took my daughter to the cinema to see the new Aladdin a few years ago assuming it was just a normal film.

5 mins in they started singing. She turned her head and just smiled at me. Done over by an 9 year old.

Take that back - Wuthering Heights (along with Catch 22) is my favourite book of all time.

Catch 22?

Dogshit. Read it... Was bored by it...going nowhere but I was too far in to stop reading in case it actually went anywhere.

Couldn't stop reading in case it got good. Didn't want to continue reading it as it was boring me to death.

Another vote for Catch 22 here. It's in my top 3. Give it another go!

Little Shop of Horrors

WAtched the original film, upon which the musical is based, upon which the Martin Short film is based, the other week.

Now THATS a bad film.

Catch 22 an ok book, film not so much although a few decent performances.

Wife's downstairs plaguing me with ABBA atm and it's bought The Princess Bride to mind, does that count as a classic people will have overlooked?

The Princess Bride is my all time favourite film. There must be a thousand quotable lines in it!

On TV they are a bit shit I’ll agree but me and Mrs Manc have enjoyed many a Saturday matinee at The Opera House and The Palace
