  1. Don't go buying tickets just yet. We might be in trouble with the FA! Lofty spotted at Bradford's training ground 😁
  2. They all stepped up to the plate but Bonham, Tutu, Forino, and Johnston take a big fucking bow
  3. I fucking love that Campo is still a Wanderer.
  4. Bonham, Forino, GJ and Sheehan all brilliant tonight. But Tutu MoM by a mile for me. His best performance for us. Superb. ... And to think there are a few on here who doubt what Sheehan brings to the team and see him as a bit of a soft touch. He was fucking everywhere tonight.
  5. Fuck Stockport. Shit cunts with their 10k following. Different game on that massive pitch. Were fucking having them this time.
  6. My dog has been fully deaf for a good few years. I reckon his hearing came back when our goal went in . #Limbsinthelounge
  7. I’ll give a shout out to GJ as well. He’s had pelters this season but solid tonight
  8. Osei-Tutu tonight by the way has been incredible.
  9. Absolutely love Simons reaction to that goal
  10. Absolutely brilliant. Celebrate for the next 24 hours. But this is not job done. All of us from SS, through to the fanbase need to focus on that one last game against a tough opponent. A chance for redemption after that Oxford debacle.
  11. I just hope Toal was taken off as a precaution, although Forinho is they key man, a brick wall tonight
  12. I'm not looking forward to this in any way, shape or form!
  13. Just clocked off..... Bit of lunch.... Get ready... Stroll to Daisy Hill station.... Few beers in Manchester with @Spartan White & the LL Leg-End.... Train to Bratfurt... Few more beers, and some dinner.... Watch us smash Bratfurt... Singing Wemberleeee all the way home in my mate's car (he'll be sober!).... Not sure what all the fuss is about...... 😁 COYFWM!!!!
  14. Shout out to SS well done you deserve it!👏👏👏
  15. Their fans are quiet as fuck can only hear ours on telly
  16. I'm excited, this is what it's all about isn't it? It's a long season with a lot of shit, cold Tuesday night matches but the reward is caring about games that truly matter like this one. Win, lose or draw it'll make you feel like nothing else for a couple of hours. We're fortunate to support a club that gives us games like this on an almost yearly basis.
  17. No right or wrong how to feel mate. I want it like the next man and a bit more maybe. Just don’t like getting to in the moment before it happens. 100% want out of this league but if we don’t I’ll go again next season😂

This is and has always been my biggest issue with it. The problems with whether clear or obvious etc. and mistakes being made are obviously bad and reflect poorly on it, but football is what it is because of that moment of euphoria when a goal goes in - an instantaneous feeling that cannot be replicated. The result, seeing where you are in the league through the week and everything else that goes with it is interesting but it’s that goal celebration that means it’s the most loved sport all around the world. VAR takes that away, it’s a cautious initial reaction with the doubt in your mind or a delayed celebration of some words on a screen - neither of which have anywhere near the same euphoria attached. Anyone that understands the game properly from a supporters point of view should have realised that and stopped any further discussions once it got raised. It can be improved all they want, it can be 100% accurate (it actually can’t but for sake of argument) but it will always have that fundamental flaw.

Var is killing the game you can’t even celebrate until they have checked the goal is ridiculous
  20. Good luck and have a great day those that are travelling COYWM Remember worse case is standing still not relegation or administration

Making league deciding decisions based on a single camera angle zoomed in & pixelated to fuck. Absolutely farcical. It may have hit his hand, but there's absolutely no way you can be certain based on that video. And so to effectively award the win to Celtic is abysmal.
  22. Fuck me the greatest, maddest goal scenes I've ever been involved in. Unreal. COYFWM
  23. Blimey, if I criticised him once, he can join the queue 😀 And I'm at the back of a long queue of criticisers. 2 great saves. Looked vulnerable in the 1st leg and in the last league game v Luton, it happens. Not sure of the point you're making and I'm too happy to care, you ain't spoiling tonight! Tutu MOM.
  24. The defensive unit as a whole has been great again. Johnston in beast mode again
  25. Lunch and dinner are the same thing in our house 😄
  26. Aye, his passing, along with everyone else's, was off tonight. But he more than made up for that by being in the right place at the right time, playing the role of a fifth defender time after time. Just what was needed tonight. He's so much better than a lot of our fans give him credit for. Our heartbeat and most important player ... and one of the few who won't look out of place in the Championship if we get there. IMO.
  27. I've yet to see a game when McAtee hasn't come on and made an impact. But so many can't see it, because he runs funny and he can't head a ball to save his life, etc.
  28. Conway and Gale stayed proper disciplined and on point when they came on too.
  29. 1 to 11 were superb. The back 4 though (6 including Conway and Bonham) were unreal. Tutu was fucking out of this world tonight. That was backs against the walls defend for your life and they stood firm.
  30. Funny how we all anticipate a big game. I’m probably the opposite side of the spectrum to you - I’m nervous, concerned, a bit fearful (not of Bradford) but of the prospect of another season in L1. But I’m also really excited at the same time. What an opportunity, another Wembley experience to savour (although we all know these can be horrific too!) and the prospect of savouring the best way to get promoted - I’d love my kids to experience this. I remember seeing you, day before Oxford, you felt the same then. I’m really hoping your confidence is spot on. And I’d love to be able to detach myself emotionally from these pre-big-game feelings, but all part of the BWFC experience, which makes the losses hard to take, but by God, it makes the victories ever so memorable.

Theres hope yet for the blues, sitting there quietly whilst labour, the greens and Reform make the headlines (mainly for the wrong reasons). Hopefully they can sort themselves out in the coming moths

That was truly disgraceful. There is no way the ball flies away in the opposite direction like that from bouncing against a blokes hand. A clear, decisive defensive header. They have all the money up there these days. They are clearly using it.
  33. Burstow off. Simons on please.
  34. Erhahon and RR have done some fantastic ratting in that half, just need a bit more composure up front.
  35. Get cissoko off this pitch
  36. I’ve got butterflies. The shit we put ourselves through for a very occasional hit of euphoria…
  37. Much happier having EE back in the starting 11.
  38. Really, really nervous about this one. Doesn’t happen often but don’t know whether I can bear to watch it 🫣

In a rare moment of board harmony, can we all agree that Wes Streeting is a slimy wanker?
  40. I keep seeing 4 games against them mentioned, in one of those we had Miller in net and Will Forrester at centre half. Not sure how relevant that will be. If we're including EFL Trophy games we've lost home and away to Port Vale this season. So it's three games - two draws and a win for us. Two goals scored, one conceded. That seems a fair reflection of the state of the two teams. They're obviously not shit - they finished above us and have the best home record outside the top two. If we go there and get a result tonight we haven't just knocked over some limited cloggers, it'll be an outstanding result and worthy of being celebrated.

Bit Le Tissier all that. HMRC are in cohoots to give Raynor a runway to being PM. Even when she's been cleared its not enough for some. I'd lay off the tin foil for a while.

Got absolutely none apart from the absolute convenience of it. HMRC decided the Housing minister who lied about taking legal advice had accidentally underpaid her housing tax (but without being negligent!) and so no penalty needed - and btw we'll announce it the day she needs a political boost.

I think Kemi Badenoch’s performance at PMQ’s yesterday deserves a mention. She just gets better. 😉
  44. I have just told my missus she needs to leave me alone, no talking about her job from 7 tomorrow. Go upstairs and talk to your mum.
