This could be a tough one today, they battered us in that second half at the Reebok. I'm hoping that was just a bit of complacency though on our side but either way I think our biggest players might be needed for this one. So Tomo in the middle definitely, and Toal on the right side of the 3 to stop that unit they had on the left wing (pity we don't have a bigger option at RWB with Geth away), Iredale at LWB if Forrester is fit.

Ahhh, wing backs might be a bit light weight in that case... Oh well, need to make sure we play on the front foot and dictate possession then

Awkward side, tight ground, not the best surface with dicky conditions. Historically games we’ve folded in. However shown this season we’re learning how to dig results out in these type of games.

typical title or promotion credentials type of game this..

With Cheltenham v Carlisle off today, it brings it home how different the schedules are for our 3 opponents in the next week.  We have 8 games in January, plus the abandoned one last week, so call it 8.5 as all the prep etc was still needed for that game.

Orient have 3 games between 2nd and 31st Jan, they can fully concentrate on playing us, and not have to think does such a player need a rest because he played Tuesday, or because we have a game in 3 days to be fit for.

Cheltenham will have had 10 days to prepare for Tuesday, Carlisle get 11 days to prepare for next Saturday; while we are playing 2 more games potentially picking up knocks and not having focus on those opponents.  We also have a game 3 days after Carlisle while they don't have a midweek game to think about.

I'm happy to cut the team some slack in this spell, it isn't a level playing field.

Oxford game and Stevenage/Barnsley both off, good chance to put some distance between us and them (and still have a game in hand!)

In terms of postponed games, the one advantage we have over most clubs in this division is that we are virtually guaranteed not to have a home game off because of the weather.  Hopefully none away but its in the lap of the gods, glad we weren't due at Oxford, Cheltenham or Stevenage today.  Good to see one or two others getting a bit of a fixture backlog not just us.
