We need more than a point Tuesday as Barnsley have an easy run in

Easy run in means fuck all we would make hard work of it no matter who we played so same for them

Said in midweek our results are easily predicted at minute, beat same teams, lose to same teams. These were an entirely predictable win, can we break that sequence on Tuesday? A gritty, determined point would do for me.

Some good things today, bit more tempo, some dangerous crosses, creativity from Maghoma. Should have had 5 but a nice enough afternoon overall

Exactly, there comes a time when you have to beat these teams and this is one of them if we want to make top two.

That was massive for me. Needed to get back on track and sounds like the boys played well.

We will win enough games against teams like this. It's just weather we can step it up against the likes of Barnsely of Derby, as we need to win at least one.

I'll take drawing both.  That two points will end up much more important than the three for losing one and winning one

1. Good, a win which was needed considering other results .

2. Its tediously boring.

Winning = Boring

Losing = Much better as it can allow for a lot more moaning.

I actually heard someone say today that even a win wasn’t good enough to paper over the cracks.

Some of our supporters genuinely shouldn’t be allowed to mix with the public.

Most of what I heard when I walked out was “Fleetwood scored 4 today, how did we lose to that shit”

Get Wigan out of your heads you complete fucking fannies

I'd like Evatt to tell us whether he is genuinely fit or not. For him to have warmed the bench now for half a dozen games, after looking as solid as any of our defence when he got injured, is baffling

I like Forrester, what I've seen of him, but he was never first choice.  I'm surprised people are surprised he's a sub, he's no more a regular pick than Iredale or Bod.  They only play when the first picks aren't available.  Back 5 of Cogley, Jones, Santos, Toal, Williams has only been broken up once or twice all season by design.

However, he's shown himself to be deserving of a place.

I'm not sure we'd have got him, if he believed he was only going to be second fiddle.

Agree.

To go up you have to win an odd game against rivals up there and not just roll over these awful teams like Cambridge today.

Need a win.

Cambridge have to be the worst team we have faced this season, refused to go forwards and were in general awful.

As previous posts have said, the results are completely predictable at the moment and this was a win before we kicked a ball.

Let’s see how we fare on Tuesday and hopefully we get a result.

Really happy Collins is off the mark, hopefully he can push us on now.

That plum that always phones up bolton fm post game phoned up as usual...

"Rubbish, we need to put these teams to the sword" ...."2-0 not good enough, should have been more".... "we need to shoot more "....yadda yadda.... presenter talked him down and through out some stats about 24 shots etc.....ended up ending his latest pot of waffle with "all that matters is 3 points today"

There is no hope man. These people just exist to be whiney cunts. Makes me think, do they actually enjoy the good days? The Wembley 4-0 ....did that guy enjoy it? Or sit at home moaning one of the kids changed the toaster setting from 3 to 4..?

Its a difficult one that, nobody gets a guarantee of being 1st choice surely, especially when stepping upto a better team.  Would Ashworth have come here to sit on the bench 90% of the season, same with the WBA and Liverpool loanees, they were never going to be first choice unless they were outstanding like for eg Bradley.  In Forrester's case, he will have got a better contract here so he wasn't likely to turn it down.

Exeter and Carlisle were worse.  Cambridge not far behind!  Good to see McAnespie still playing at a decent level too.

Agreed on Collins, great finish, harder than it looked, and effectively a great assist in 1st half, just not converted by Cogley, but what a great early cross.

See that’s what is great about football, people have different opinions about the game.

i see it completely different to casino and others, we have the ability and talent to have walked this league , but have a stubborn  manager who won’t change and it has cost us to many lost points to win the league, don’t fancy us in the playoffs
