Must of learnt that from Jones and Cogley. We’re probably the best in the league at throwing our arms pointlessly in the air.

This quote is the most relevant of the whole season

Now we know what we do in training. Because it isn’t practicing defending, corners, free kicks or shooting.

AKA doing the basics. Because such matters are beneath Evatt while he pretends he's Jurgen Klopp.

dreadful form, our last win against 11 men was 8 games ago, then it was 2 back to back wins at home with 90th minute winners (which led to zero confidence being gained), last time we comfortably won scoreline wise vs 11 men was 4-1 away v Stevenage back in October, let down after let down and relying on other teams getting red cards for our points

We can blame players and why not, Jones and Johnson have been poor for a while. Cogley's final ball is woeful, almost as bad as Derek Scott, and he was bad. Santos must be knackered after every game, he's the lynchpin but also has a mistake in him. Rumours are he wants away and who could blame him, he gets dogs abuse.

Can we talk about formations, Evatt doesn't want to play 4 4 2. Even though every team in the division knows how to play us with 5 at the back, wingbacks have a lot of the ball but create almost nothing. Everybody behind the ball, pass, pass and pass until we lose the ball. Press our defenders and wait for the inevitable mistake.

Would it better to have two bog standard central defenders, Shone and Desmond on the wings, working their lines and stretching the play, with say Collins and Charles up front. I know it has been discussed before but I just don't know why the people in charge can't see it.

Signings like Vic and the ones this year are wasted money, if we are to retain Evatt he will waste more money to sign players to fit his non negotiable system, which will not get us out of this league.

I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I witnessed Santos take a Goal kick in which he passed it backwards for our keeper to boot it long. When he did it again for a second and third time I realised it weren’t my eyes.

Does anyone have any idea of the logic behind that?

He’s a serial offender for that. Regardless of the keeper. Makes my piss evaporate. He’s 6 foot odd and a professional footballer who can’t take a goal kick and propel the ball forward ? Fuck me.

The thing is I feel sorry for Evatt he is a technical genius but the team are so crap they don't understand this in years to come when they are teaching new coaches he will be referred to as the football Messiah just as Einstein was to science  Evatt ideas are just before thier time

There’s some proper mumbo jumbo at the beginning there about “blocks, stresses, scoreline pressure and patience”

Ah well, new ground ticked off.

Not bothering with these next 3 aways.

I’ll think again when it comes to Huddersfield.

Teams dont come out now, they just sit deep.

TBH it’s got to the point that whether a team high presses us or low blocks us it doesn’t make any difference.  We still don’t have a solution 🤷‍♂️

Ive said it all along. We wont do fuck all in this league until we go to a flat back four, with at least one winger.

In GMR interview it was apparently 'one of the most one-sided games you'll see, so much possession, so much territory....'.

Issue was, at both ends, apart from one moment, we were crap.

If Mansfield had felt like it, early second half, they could have pushed up a bit, penned us in our half and buried us. They chose to sit back and allow us to huff and puff in their half for most of it.

That frigging sending off by Mansfield at home really has cost us.

The knives were absolutely out and he would have gone after that.

He wouldn't.

Been given to board's backing since too.

Unless there is a very big change of heart, he's here for the foreseeable and will have the window to wave his magic wand.

Delusional stuff. Why would a team who are winning give a fuck about the other team passing it about going nowhere?

It's crazy how much standards have gone through the floor that this is now deemed an ok performance or that we were in some way unfortunate.

Why though? What is it that Sharon sees in Evatt that the rest of us are missing? Everything we saw today just confirmed exactly why he should not receive a bloody vote of confidence and even more money to waste. I admire loyalty but this is pure stupidity and it has to end. He’s had everything so far, full control, consistent backing, money to spend, amazing support from the fans but let’s just say it as it is. He’s failed and were quickly going backwards so please someone, anyone, tell me what it is that Sharon is seeing?

He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy (allegedly)

He is going but not till its mathematically impossible for us to go up by the look if it .
He couldn’t possibly have the nerve to try and start next season and the board will have to react to poor season ticket sales till he as gone early bird sales will be dire

Ultimately, that's s question for Sharon.

What is clear, is that he wouldn't have been sacked had we lost that particular game.
