He was the star of our team that reached the Youth Cup quarter final in the Meggo days - no surprises that he's matured into a player good enough for Bolton
Mooy, Clough, Holding, Alonso, Cahill - makes you sick thinking the quality youngsters we've had, the prices we got and what we're turning out now.
Didn't Eddie And Phil get £7 million combined for Mooy, Alonso and Cahill - worse business than the catering contract they handed out
At least Ken is a bit more savvy in the money he got for Holding and Clough

I've had a look, Mooy is pushing 27 and has done absolutely fuck all since he left us.

Late bloomer then, City have obviously seen something in him, and even if he doesn't go back to them, he'll be a good championhip player at the very least,

His touch and passing is sublime and he can mix it too.

Apparently the tide has turned against Coyle last home game according to the lads at work. I pointed out they're in the best form of the season with their current points haul.

I really want them to experience all this shit in the 3rd tier.

Me too, along with Wigan. Just hope we can get another decent run together so we're swapping places with them both.

Mooy and Alonso left as their contracts ended. Are you another madman who seems to think you can force someone to sign a new contract?

The problem we had at the time was the club liked to offer 3rd year scholarship contracts, instead of professional contracts offered at other clubs.

Not altogether sure that affected alonso who had a dad after 40k a week

Mooy, maybe, but the fact he did very little at St Mirren suggests there wasn't owt to indicate he'd go on to achieve great things
