We don’t have to press for 90 minutes if we’re prepared to keep a tight structure higher up the field, but the midfield kept dropping deeper and deeper which in turn forces the defence back and all of a sudden Reading have possession in a dangerous area instead of watching them pass the ball between themselves at the back.

Ameobi was knackered and wasn’t tucking in quickly enough to close the gap in the middle of midfield. When the board went up for the first sub Ameobi actually set off jogging towards the dug-outs he was that sure his race was run. He was probably still thinking about it when he got caught wrong side for the penalty, when he basically just fell over their mon.

I thought we played pretty well and a double sub when Armstrong (who was excellent first half) went off might have saved the points.

Some good performances (Alnwick, Pratley and Henry) and another woeful show from the officials.

I didn’t think Reading were all that but reckon they could be a good side if they got on with it.

Probably a fair result in the end, but it fucking stung.

Robinson is very weak. He frequently goes into challenges where you would expect him to come out with the ball but he gets out muscled. If he builds on that side he might be all right.

Some of you will have maybe seen enough of Robinson now to judge him better than most, whats he been like overall ?

Chat from our side, he is currently playing to find his next club.

I like him. But he ain’t a premier league player

Little & Robinson are decent going forward but were getting pissed on defensively which forced Armstrong & Ameobi to drop back & help them ( & even then we didn't stop the danger from the wings ) which kept us pinned back & completely isolated Madine. It's hard to see what else we could have done without  having better full backs to bring on......the subs we did have would have made little difference.

To start with, Reading looked a tippy tappy , pass for the sake of it team, but they got better & better, & like Brentford, I can't see them finishing anywhere near the bottom 3.

A sickener but a fair result in the end.

Fair fucks to Pratley, best he's played this season MOM.

That draw is on parky. Armstrong and Ameobi were crying out to be subbed ten minutes before they scored. I know he could see the amount of pressure they had down our wings, because those were the two players he brought off, but it was too late. Armstrong defensively isnt disciplined enough and Ameobi was knackered. Poor management.

This is how i saw it.

Shame but we must remain positive.

Much better player with Karl Henry next to him.

Again, that's unfair

Time and time again we picked the ball of them on half way and should have made more of those chances

I actually thought we did very well first half of the second half

I agree with that. Madine who I thought had one of his poorer games last night, missed 2 or 3 opportunities not to play in a team mate with his poor passing. Just one of those comes off and we're 3 up

Aye he threw a proper flounce when Robinson did not put a decent ball in.

worst i remember of his was when a ball was on to put armstrong 1 on 1

i'd not be surprised to hear armstrong wasnt too disappointed

i wouldnt have wanted to be him :)

10 yards of space all around him and robinson scuffed it

great chance for madine to fluff a massive opportunity gone

Let’s be honest we are a crap club.

Let’s just all pack it in and support Man City

Remember when City were shitter and skinter than us and could not even fill their council house stadium. I would love it if the Arabs fucked them off seriously love it and I live in hope.

Weakest player in our starting line up

I'd rather play A Taylor if/when he's fit

He isn't slow and puts in the off good tackle but he's really one footed, weak and can't pass

I prefer Robinson sure he is raw & makes a few mistakes but did you see him bombing down the flank in stoppage time something Taylor couldn't & wouldn't do , trying to win the game.

He certainly will get better that's for sure.

His mis timed clearing out of Gunter was enjoyable.

I’d prefer Robinson Taylor is so so slow and has been a liability all season no suprise our form improved when he got injured.
