nantwichwhite
Kachunga does not get the protection he thinks he deserves. There is a lot of nudges in the back and shirt pulling in this league. He falls to his knees and refs just wavs play on. He should have the experience to stay on his feet and keep in the game. Instead he shows petulance and tonight violent conduct. He is either stubborn or too stupid to learn his lesson. All of this could be acceptable if he grabbed the occasional goal, but he just doesn’t. Matt Lofthouse
Great win under the circumstances and good to bounce back after the defeat at derby. How fucking stupid is kachunga. Get rid/replaced Evatt.

He’s just a poor all round footballer. If he had 1/10th of Lee’s football intelligence I’d kind of understand why Evatt persists with him
Rizlar
Surely IE now realises that Kachunga is a liability and needs to be either got rid of or put into the B team .
radcliffe white
All managers even the best ones make the odd bad signing this is one of evatts realistically no fucker will come in for him so it’s a case of running his contract down what’s left till end of season please not another year

Bradley defo lucky not to give away a pen, but their defender should have been sent off for a 2nd yellow when he brought down Dempsey just after half time Firstly, a great win, fantastic defending by the centre backs and Bradley. Outstanding energy and intelligence from Dempsey, then Lee. No defending, attacking, running or passing from Williams. Throw ins weren't bad. So not sure where you get 10 from, I'd say 3 which was the same as his other games to date. Does he even enjoy playing football? Its like he's being forced to join in against his will, but he spends the game avoiding contact with ball or man. Well done the players that battled, not sure IE covered himself in glory with how long it took to get some reinforcements on - Williams or Lee for Shoretire was surely a given at half time or very shortly after. Shoretire was very impressive with 11 men, happy with the signing, but not a game for him tonight, very odd to leave MJ on the bench so long. Quietly impressed with how FGR knocked it around, they made it look like they had 2 more men than us not 1. That little oldish guy with the left foot in midfield was eye catching with his clever passing, they were just truly awful at shooting and heading towards goal, thank God. Trafford played a full part in the win but god knows what he was doing when he stayed rooted to his line and allowed that header from 3 yards. Who cares, 3 great points, no more Kachunga for a while and IE must now see that he's dropped a bollock with the new left back.

Lostock Whites
That prick should never play again. How anyone can defend him is unbelievable, he is 30+ years old and decided to punch a player, got our best attacking player sent off and then walked around for the rest of the match, whilst the rest of the team were blowing our of their arses. It's not just one match is it, it's the whole season, 5 League goals in his last 150 matches, he is not good enough. He's not a leader, hot headed, poor finisher, not strong or can hold the ball up, he simply offers nada. If I was Sadlier id be so demotivated. Rest of the team put and absolute shift in and the fans were fantastic in the 2nd half. 3 points we move on.

kevsta69
What an unbelievable shift from the players tonight.Heroes to a man. Dempsey immense but take a bow Conor Bradley. The lad never stops running. Kachunga let his team mates and the fans down. Then to compound it then doesn’t put a shift in to help his team mates out. Like playing with 9 men Hope he never plays for the club again. Edited January 24, 2023 by kevsta69
TM Trotter
Kachunga can fuck off to the B team until his contract is out. Absolute disgrace; it's not that his little gut punch was stupid, for me it was the absolute lack of effort he put in to try to make up for his actions. Half jumps, forlorn little jogs, comedy falls to the floor, a shocking lack of a first touch. If he showed a tiny fraction of the desire of Dempsey tonight, I'd almost forgive him. As it was, he can get in the fucking bin, the gobshite. Officiating was bizarre, truly bizarre. Nothing more to be said on that, just embarrassing. Huge well done to everyone other than that no-mark dosser; a real battling performance. If FGR could finish, that could have been a cricket score. As it was, they're terrible in front of goal, and we got three points... albeit under far more challenging circumstances than we thought at about 7:50pm... Evatt deserves credit for bringing them back in at the right time. That’s no slight on the other defenders, they are all quality options. it’s a good dilemma to have. Standouts for me were Santos, Bradley and Dempsey
Leyther_Matt
Not read through the thread as not long since back but I’ll hazard a guess here at say I’m probably the only one who thought we missed Kachunga when he went off. Clearly he was thick as fuck to do what he did - and a bit of a shithouse for allowing Charles to take the rap - but as a lone striker with 10 men he was always providing an outlet and closing down their back three. Once he went off, the ball was just going to keep coming back and, try as he might, Dempsey was never going to fill that void. In addition to that, I don’t think any of the four (Morley, Williams, Lee, Dempsey) looked particularly comfortable playing as two banks of two. I do wonder whether playing without a recognised striker, even with Sadlier sat on the bench, was Evatt’s way of asking for a bit of cash to spend on a striker in the window, particularly as that’ll be (presumably) Kachunga out for three games. Still, that’s exactly the sort of game where previously we might have crumbled under the late pressure, so the nature of the win certainly won’t do any harm and will hopefully stand them in good stead for future tests. Jayjay23
Does anyone remember the Kachunga push a few mins before the red card? Their defender ran about 50 yards with the ball and set up an attack. Just as he released the pass Kachunga pushed him over from behind. Would have been a foul but ref played advantage as they created a chance. Was it the same defender that he later punched? Had they had any other rows during the match? marple whites
The most important thing was the 3 points (particularly with all other top teams winning) bradley and Dempsey were first class tonight. the team worked themselves into the ground and that was with 2 passengers in Randell and kachunga.
