Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted November 14, 2019 Site Supporter Posted November 14, 2019 3 points deducted, 3 more suspend for 2 years for not paying football creditors on time is my guess. We’ll also have to cover Doncaster’s costs - they can use that to get rid of flood water from their dump Quote

Burndens Bogs Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Whatever punishment the EFL dish out, they're a set of cunts. We should be awarded points for having to suffer sweaty Ken for 3 years after the EFL passed him on a Fit and Proper persons test. Quote

The punishments don’t affect the previous cunts but affect the new owners and the supporters. If new owners were required to deposit a bond when taking over with the EFL which was lost for situations such as ours, it would certainly affect the ones who’d steered the ship into the murky waters and maybe encourage responsible ownership. Leyther_Matt Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I'm going for a suspended 3 point deduction for Brentford which was then activated by Doncaster with a further 3 points deducted for that with an additional fine. End result, 6 points and a few quid lighter. At least we'll have the chance to win the points back from Doncaster, something which really would boil some piss. Quote
Okocha10 Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 Middlesborough got a 3 point deduction for refusing to play there game back in the 90's so anything above 6 points the EFL will have a lot to answer for Quote

Even the EFL know that charging us now for Ken's historic actions regarding paying people on time would be a pisstake. Quote
Traf Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 A decent legal team would get away with no immediate points deduction. Quote

My thoughts too. Maybe a fine for the way we went about postponing the Donny game, but some appreciation of the circumstances wouldn't go amiss. Quote

Take Hunt Off Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 We will get hammered imo the fact it is an ' independant ' panel will get the EFL off the hook & they have offloaded the responsibility ......shitehawks. Quote

Moderators Zico Posted November 14, 2019 Moderators Posted November 14, 2019 3 points for Doncaster is fair enough, we may have got away with it had we consulted the EFL and Doncaster first, but the fact we didn't and just decided to call it off means, IMO, the EFL have to dish out a penalty as you can't set a precedent that allows clubs to call off when they see fit Quote

Plums Posted November 14, 2019 Posted November 14, 2019 I can’t see us getting a light touch. Think the generic thinking would be that if this goes unpunished then other clubs could do the same when the fixtures pile up. Liverpool at the moment could be an interesting development. Quote
