Yes, we were fantastic yesterday, the football was outstanding, and it was at Sheff Wed too.  But it means nothing at Exeter or v Cambridge, completely different games on very different pitches against teams set up differently.  As much as we could win every game, we might only win 1 or 2, we don't know which team is going to turn up from one game to the next, but we aren't alone in that.

Agree with everyone saying its great they all celebrate together. 

I do find it quite amusing though that Shoretire is on there celebrating with the team that knocked him out the very same competition with a right pasting 😁

Oh by the way @Spider it was lovely in the sun, 😊 proper nice after being a bit chilly round the stadium pre game. T-Shirt weather by the 2nd half. Eldest (male) even went topless.

Dear god the ref/linos were poor. I know it’s a Wembley final but you simply can’t make that as an excuse for not red carding players for those tackles. The handball and the push in the penalty box on Kachunga are two clear pens as well

Thought our second goal (Dion's) worked down the wing by Kacha and Demps was a contender for goal of the season. It was a thing of beauty and a goal any club at any level would be proud of.

Different scenario for JDB, but if I was injured and out for the season when my contract ends, not sure I could be arsed with doing the "look at what you could have won" thing.  On another note I'd have loved to have seen JDB against that Plymouth defence on that pitch, he would have had a field day.

Back in work this morning, what an incredible day that was. Shed a tear more than once as that was genuine catharsis for the last 10-12 years. 

Still on the roof now, what a boost ahead of the run in, and showing that we can not just beat, but outplay a side at the top end of the league is huge. 6 points this weekend and lets get that playoff spot booked.

Don't know if any of you remember the tale I told about my mate living a few doors down from Kachunga and him saying he didn't want to leave the house after the  Dion sending off nonsense, well, 

My mates just sent me a picture of himself wearing Kachungas winners medal, said he spent an hour on the street having beers with neighbours yesterday letting the kids put the medal on. He said that the PR team at the club have told him "we're sure you'll be safe to go out round bolton now" 😂😂 

My mate said he can't work out if he was being serious or not with that.

Kachunga is probably the least 'worthy' scapegoat we've ever had. Probably run close with Darren Pratley. Hes just been a bit crap at times, nowhere near worth the outpouring of abuse and stick hes got over his time here. The hysterics after that sending off malarkey was just plain embarrassing. 

Im just so glad hes managed to turn things around. Bit of trust from the manager and sheer graft. Amazing what the mind can be capable of. 

Fair fucks to the lad. Others would've folded. Couple of big goals later and hes on the way to being a cult figure.

With VAR we have penalty for handball, which could be a red, the tackle on Sheehan a possible red and the one on Toal is a definite red. 
 

 

After having a little time to think about it, I'm not sure Toners performance wasn't worse than Barry Knights at Ipswich, but as we won, will be overlooked.

The two (non) reds for the Sheehan & Toal fouls, the handball not given (as Ani says possible red too), the push on Katch in the box, the non yellow for Scarr in the first minute for the tug back as Charles (?) runs through (2nd yellow later).

 

Unlike Knight however, it didnt dictate who won or not.
