On the striker thread mate, iirc. If Vic isn't quite ready, I'd like him Bod to have a go from the off. Get some thunderclaps going, raise the atmosphere and shut up the noisy away end. Quote
Spider Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Another win A big one as well This is where we really start to flex our muscle Quote

Whitestar Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 I remember they showed up at Burnden one time early 80s, not massive numbers but they did have a little go. Bless Quote
gonzo Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Wonder if they'll be carrying an effigy of Paul Dodd? Quote

That spell when he seemed to score most games the season before last, the thunderclap was fantastic, I'd forgotten about that till you jogged my memory. Would love that to become a thing again. Quote
FrancisFogarty Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 DadBod wants more than the last few minutes. It must be as frustrating to him as it is to us. And to Dion. Quote
bwfc2003 Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Avanti west coast are saying no services north of Preston tomorrow - that’s going to cause a problem for the invading forces tomorrow Quote

Casino Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 Weather? Cant they cope with sun any more? Dear god, northern powerhouse Quote
bwfc2003 Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Loads of scotland to preston trains cancelled today because of weather in scotland Carlisle fans - quite rightly - fcukin fuming Quote

Looks like only 5-30 and 7-30 for return trip, gonna be lively after the match as they’ll be hanging around for a while. I reckon they’ll be plenty of coaches on the car park today. Biggish Dave Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Anyone not having a backup plan to trains these days is nuts - even if the plan is to sack it off completely. It's one of the reasons I'm not doing many aways this season Quote
Moots Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Just done a drop in Preston and there are a few of the usual Carlisle muppets bouncing around already, albeit average age of 12. Just hope this is isn’t going to be another Wigan on the field. COYWM ffs. Quote
